After Samsung's largest recall ever it seems like they just cant get the new phone right. According to the Korean News agency Yonhap, Samsung has halted production of their note 7 devices after the recent reports. Now that a large portion of users have gotten their replacements we are still seeing reports of the new devices exploding.

Here are all of the reports so far from ARSTechnica

• A "safe" Note 7 that caught fire on a parked Southwest Flight, triggering an evacuation of the airplane.
• A "safe" Note 7 filled a Kentucky bedroom with smoke at 4am, sending the owner to the hospital after he started vomiting "a lot of black stuff."
• A "safe" Note 7 melted in Minnesota and burned a 13-year-old girl's hand.
• A "safe" Note 7 exploded in Taiwan while inside a woman's pants pocket.
• A Note 7 caught fire in a South Korean baseball stadium. The owner says the unit is "a new one."
• A Note 7 caught fire in a South Korean Burger King. It's unknown if it's a replacement or not, but the majority of devices in South Korea have been replaced.

In addition, both T mobile and AT&T have halted sales of the potentially dangerous devices. It looks like these issues may cause a divide between Samsung and certain american carriers. 

"While Samsung investigates multiple reports of issues, T-Mobile is temporarily suspending all sales of the new Note 7 and exchanges for replacement Note 7 devices." - Tmobile

If it were up to me, I would have Samsung stop production permanently, recall all of the devices and figure out the root cause of this issue so they will never repeat it again. Samsung has always gotten good PR and for good reason but i'm sure their marketing department will have to get pretty creative to make customers forget this massive disaster, maybe a free Fire blanket with all of their new phones!
